Here is a Brief Overview accompanied by videos to show how to prepare a model for 3d printing.

  1. In this first video, I will create a simple house in Tinkercad to be used for 3d printing.
  1. After creating an object in Tinkercad, you then export it as an stl file.
  1. After it has finished downloading, lets install Makerbot or whatever slicer is recommended for your 3d printer.
  1. After you have finished installing your prefered slicer, you can load your stl file onto, for slicing. Once you’r done tweaking the settings, you can either print via a usb cable, or export it to a USB Flash Drive or SD Card.
